Founder & CEO at Ampathy
Brian Sirgutz is currently working on Ampathy, a new proprietary technology that produces content for social impact. Previous to Ampathy, he served as the Senior Vice President of Social Impact and Social Innovation at The Huffington Post Media Group/AOL. Brian founded the award-winning Impact, Education, and Good News verticals and developed the ‘How You Can Help’ Impact component for the Pulitzer Prize winning series ‘Beyond The Battlefield’. Brian also led all development of social impact-related business and product development innovations on the Huffington Post’s platform.
Seeing a demand for companies to align their brand values with relevant editorial content, Brian invented what is now known as the social impact publishing model. Brian has spoken on the main stage at events such as the UN Mashable’s Social Good Summit and SXSW, presenting a keynote with Biz Stone, the co-founder of Twitter. Brian also teaches the occasional class on CSR around “doing well while doing good” at New York University and USC’s Marshall School of Business.
